The Turks and Caicos Islands will hold a general election on February 7, 2025 to elect 19 of the 21 members of the Parliament.

Significant constitutional changes have been enacted since the previous election. The House of Assembly was renamed as the Parliament of the Turks and Caicos Islands on December 10, 2024, and terms have been increased to five years. The election system was also changed. There are now 19 elected seats (up from 15 from the previous election), with 4 of these becoming at-large constituency seats. Voting has also received significant changes - votes will now be counted using electronic voting machines, and voters will use one ballot instead of two.[1]

The Turks and Caicos islands is primarily a two-party system between the Progressive National Party (PNP) and the People's Democratic Movement (PDM). The PNP has controlled the island since the 2021 elections, which saw the collapse of the ruling PDM party due to a backlash from unpopular mismanagement of the economy and the reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic.
